VINEYARD MANAGEMENT: FRAMES AND TOOLS

The agricultural machines for the management and control of the vineyard canopy are able to simplify and speed up all those green pruning operations aimed at improving the health of the plant and the quality of the production.

Rinieri srl produces a wide range of agricultural machinery for the management and control of the vineyard canopy: double-blade or knife bar pruning machines built in different geometries, both single and double, to adapt to all needs and types of crops; roller defoliators , dry pruners , de-suckers for mechanical weeding.

The vineyard canopy management machines are connected to looms.

At Rinieri we have three families of looms , with different characteristics based on the type of vineyard and land to work on. Common is the front attachment which allows you to constantly check and adjust the position while driving inside the row for perfect processing.

• The Tower frames are characterized by a very robust, resistant and stable central fixed column structure. Ideal for vineyards located on mostly flat terrain.
• Vision frames are characterized by the best visibility due to the lowered structure. Thanks to the possibility of hydraulically adjusting the vertical bars to different heights, it is suitable for various types of systems, even with lateral slopes of the ground and for working on hills .
• Eco frames feature a strong and durable central fixed column structure . Compared to the Tower frames, the Eco models are simpler machines because they have all manual adjustments. A stable and reliable high-performance machine at reasonable prices.

The frames are multipurpose and adaptable to the customer. Equipped with hydraulic tilt and lift, they allow all the movements and adjustments of the structure and bars , necessary for precise and perfect management of the foliage.

The Rinieri looms, available in single and double versions – which allows you to work both sides of the row in a single pass and save time – can be fitted with trimmers with different bar geometries, defoliator heads , pre-pruners and suckers .

PRUNER

We have a range of tooth and knife pruning machines built in different geometries both single and double to adapt to all needs and types of crops and able to satisfy the requests and needs of each individual winemaker. Ideal for a good and fast summer topping of the vineyard .

You can choose between:

•  CRL double blade cutting bars  are very robust and allow a precise and clean cut of the vine branch thanks to the double reciprocating blade-tooth movement;
• CRV cutting bars  with  stainless steel rotating knives , robust and light, allow a quick and precise cut of the vine shoots.

Thanks to the multipurpose and adaptable frames, you can choose the configuration that best meets your needs.

Toppers are mounted on

• Eco frames in double I or inverted L models;
• Vision frames in single or double models with I or C, L, inverted L and inverted U bar geometries;
• Tower frames in single or double models with I or C, L, inverted L and inverted U bar geometries.

LEAF REMOVER

The DRF defoliating head with opposing rollers is ideal for removing leaves in the production area in vineyards in order to favor the ripening of the grape bunches and reduce the need for phytosanitary treatments.

The two opposing rollers, one in stainless steel equipped with slots and the other in rubber, remove the leaves without causing damage to the younger bunches. And the excess leaves, removed by the machine, are then sucked up.

The header can be applied to both single and double Tower and Vision frames , so you can defoliate both sides of the row in one pass and save time.

BULLYING

The CPL pre-pruning head  for winter pruning in vineyards is made up of two columns of highly resistant sheet metal discs, available in the classic version with a 100mm distance between the cutting discs for spurred cordon systems and the compact version, with a 70mm distance for Guyot plants.

The ideal machine to carry out an excerpt that takes place in complete safety and without damage.

The pre-pruner can be mounted on the Tower and Vision frames .

SPOON REMOVER

The SRV hydraulic shoot remover head is designed for mechanical weeding , to remove the new shoots or suckers that form along the stem of the vines and in orchards as well as weeds.

The rotation of the tree at the appropriate speed makes the flails – available in 3 different types based on the typology and robustness of the plants – extremely effective in suckering the rows of vineyards and orchards without damaging the feet of the plants.

The suckering head can be applied on the Vision and Eco frames in the double version and on the Tower frame in the straddling version.
